DoorBird: SmartHome starts at the front door
The company "Bird Home Automation GmbH" is a young company based in Berlin, specializing in smart doorbell-systems.
The first series product came onto the market in 2015. Since then, the company has grown continuously and no longer leads a niche existence.
We became aware of the DoorBird products during our search for intelligent solutions for the smart home entry; for private or commercial needs, e.g. for the home, office, retail store, etc..
The solution should be innovative, uncomplicated and above all affordable. The DoorBird devices convinced us from the beginning and so we became an authorized sales partner already in 2016. Our entry happened with a then still quite manageable offer, including the DoorBird classic D201 for single-family homes, which has found many grateful buyers. In the following years, DoorBird has steadily developed its product portfolio. The range now includes door stations with keypad, display module and fingerprint up to systems for apartment buildings and building complexes with up to 200 apartments.
What makes DoorBird doorbell systems so attractive?
HighTech features without compromise: HD video. 180° lens. 4D motion sensor. Infrared night vision, RFID standard and much more.
Uncomplicated installation: Supplied in a manageable complete "kit" with all necessary connections, including connection options for door opener, gong or garage door opener. Everything is neatly provided and accessible in the electronics unit.
Multi-user capable: Up to 8 participants can receive push notifications about what's happening at the front door, via video and audio directly to their smartphone or tablet.
Access from anywhere in the world: when you're not at home, you still maintain a complete overview. You can see the visitors, talk to them, open the door if necessary.
Quality down to the last detail: at DoorBird, quality is and has never been skimped on. The production including the various high-quality front panels is done in our own factory in Berlin.
Clean no-frills design combined with optimal selection: All DoorBird standard stations are offered in different variants. These include, among other things, the number of call buttons, the type of mounting (surface or flush-mounted), the design of the appearance with different metal front panels or paint finishes in common RAL colors.
Special designs at a fair price: Those who have not yet found what they are looking for in the standard systems can also use the DoorBird configurator. With this practical tool, dimensions, operating elements, front panel, etc. can be freely combined and assembled.
Well thought-out, exactly coordinated accessories: Here the manufacturer offers many useful accessories, concerning the installation as well as extension of the functionalities. For example, the 2-wirePOE converter for bridging missing network cables, the IP controller for additional in-house security, the convenient indoor station with screen and integrated chime, to name just a few.
Complete program, but not an island: DoorBird is open and compatible with many smart home standards and providers, including KNX, AVM, B&O, Synology, Fibaro, NUKI and many more.
