SORAA Brilliant HL High Lumen LED – selection guide

This collection includes SORAA Brilliant HL LEDs for applications where high light output, good efficiency and professional lighting quality are more important than maximum full-spectrum colour quality. They are especially suitable for shops, showrooms, work areas, higher ceilings and architectural lighting.

What makes SORAA Brilliant HL special?

SORAA Brilliant HL LEDs are designed for high light output with good efficiency and professional light quality. They are suitable when a room, sales area or work area needs more brightness than a typical full-spectrum accent lamp can provide.

What is the difference between SORAA Brilliant HL and SORAA Vivid 3?

SORAA Vivid 3 focuses on maximum colour quality and full-spectrum light. SORAA Brilliant HL focuses on higher light output and better efficiency. Vivid 3 is the better choice for absolute colour fidelity, while Brilliant HL is better when brightness and energy efficiency are more important.

When should I choose SORAA Brilliant HL?

SORAA Brilliant HL is the right choice for retail spaces, showrooms, work areas, practices, hospitality, higher rooms and architectural lighting where more brightness is needed. It is especially useful when the light has to cover larger areas or provide a strong visual presence.

Is SORAA Brilliant HL also suitable for galleries and art?

SORAA Brilliant HL can be used for galleries and art when higher brightness is required. If the most natural and differentiated colour rendering is the main priority, SORAA Vivid 3 is usually the better choice. For brighter presentation lighting, Brilliant HL can be the more practical option.

Which base types are relevant for SORAA Brilliant HL?

Depending on the product, SORAA Brilliant HL LEDs are available in different base and lamp formats such as GU10, GU5.3, G53 or E27/PAR. The existing luminaire determines the correct base. GU10 and E27 are usually used directly on 230 V, while GU5.3 and G53 are 12 V low-voltage systems.

Which beam angle should I choose?

Narrow beam angles are suitable for strong accents, objects and display areas. Wider beam angles are better for general illumination, walls, larger sales areas and rooms. In higher spaces, the beam angle should be chosen carefully so that the light reaches the target surface effectively.

Which colour temperature is suitable: 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K?

2700 K appears warm and comfortable. 3000 K is a versatile choice for retail, hospitality, galleries, practices and modern interiors. 4000 K feels clearer and more functional and is suitable for work areas, technical environments and situations where a cooler light impression is desired.

Are SORAA Brilliant HL LEDs dimmable?

Many SORAA Brilliant HL LEDs are dimmable, but dimming performance depends on the dimmer, transformer and electrical installation. With 12 V systems such as GU5.3 or G53, the transformer must be compatible with LED lamps.
