Heim- und Balkonspeicher

Home and Balcony Storage

SunEnergyXT storage solutions are modular, expandable, and designed for use with balcony power plants, fence power plants, and larger PV systems. Depending on the system, storage capacity, feed-in power, and emergency power function can be flexibly adapted to one's own energy needs.

The systems are suitable for increasing self-consumption, utilizing dynamic electricity tariffs, and intelligent integration into smart energy environments. Integrated MPPTs, 2-way inverters, and smart meter connections allow for targeted linking of PV generation, storage charging, and household consumption.

Multiple storage towers can be combined. Depending on the setup, up to three phases and up to 3 × 2,400 W can be fed into the house grid.

  • Ideal for expanding and optimizing existing balcony power plants
  • Easy connection to solar fences, fence power plants, and PV modules
  • Modular expansion of storage capacity
  • Emergency power and e-car charging options depending on the system configuration
  • Zero export possible via Smart Meter, Shelly, bitShake, EcoTracker, TASMOTA, DTU or Home Assistant

SunEnergyXT storage – frequently asked questions

What is a home or balcony storage system?

A home or balcony storage system stores solar energy so it can be used later in the household. This increases self-consumption and makes solar power available even when the sun is no longer shining.

When is a storage system worthwhile?

A storage system is worthwhile when solar energy is produced during the day but mainly used in the morning, evening or at night. It can also be useful in combination with dynamic electricity tariffs.

What is the difference between balcony storage and home storage?

Balcony storage systems are usually compact, modular and designed for smaller PV systems. Home storage systems are larger, more powerful and can supply several circuits or phases depending on the system design.

Can I connect a storage system to an existing balcony power plant?

In many cases, yes. SunEnergyXT systems are designed for modular use and can often be combined with existing PV modules, microinverters and smart meters. The exact setup depends on the existing installation.

What does a bidirectional inverter mean?

A bidirectional inverter can both feed electricity into the house grid and charge the battery from another source. This can be useful for PV charging, grid charging, dynamic tariffs and intelligent energy management.

Can a storage system provide backup power during a power outage?

Depending on the system configuration, backup power or emergency power functions may be possible. The exact capability depends on the inverter, battery setup, wiring and the selected operating mode.

Is zero feed-in possible with SunEnergyXT?

Yes, zero feed-in can be implemented with suitable smart meters and energy management. Depending on the setup, systems such as Shelly, bitShake, EcoTracker, TASMOTA, DTU or Home Assistant can be used.

Why buy SunEnergyXT storage systems from danholt?

At danholt, we do not see storage systems as isolated products, but as part of a Smart Energy concept consisting of PV generation, storage, self-consumption, smart meters, dynamic tariffs and energy management.
