Power and network for your wall-mounted tablet – through a single cable

A wall-mounted tablet becomes a control centre for lighting, shading and entertainment, or displays current room availability outside a meeting room. The sCharge PoE GBit powers compatible USB-C tablets and connects them to the wired network at the same time.

A single Ethernet cable provides the connection. The compact module delivers power and network access to the tablet via USB-C. No additional power socket is needed at the installation point.

Combined with a suitable sDock Fix wall mount, it creates a discreet tablet installation for smart homes, offices and meeting rooms. The module is designed for concealed installation; in wall installations, the power supply and connections can be hidden behind the mount.

PoE power is also particularly useful for tablets on the frames of glass walls and partition systems: only a network cable needs to run to the installation point. This enables digital room booking, access information or room control even where no power socket has been provided.

A suitable PoE switch or PoE injector is required. The tablet must support a network connection via USB-C. The usable charging power and data rate depend on the connected device.
